Randy Moss Deal Just About Done

So this weekend has been pretty stressful for us Patriots fans. If you had asked me or not last week, I would have told you that the only reason the Pats did not franchise Moss was because they already had a long term deal ready to go, and just needed to wait to announce it.

But that wasn't the case. There was no deal in place and the Patriots let Moss actually become a free agent. Then the weekend came and went and there were rumors flying about that Randy wanted to reunite with Dante Culpepper. This didn't scare me that much because noone is scrambling to make sure they land Culpepper. In fact, I would bet that Culpepper was praying that he could convince Moss to make him part of the deal.

Either way, Sources are now saying that a deal with the Patriots is imminent. Thank Jebus. Moss is far more vital than Samuel, he is certainly a bigger deal that Stalworth, and losing him means that next year is a throw away year. Get the deal done Pioli, you gotta pay someone sometimes.

This will free up the Pats to work on getting a deal in place to Ty Law, which I think is a great move. More on this later....
