Dan Morgan, Carolina's 1st rnd draft pick in 2001, has been cut by the Carolina Panthers. Morgan has had numerous injuries over the last few years, including 5 concussions and a torn Achilles. He had 25 tackles in the Superbowl loss to the Patriots in 2004. He fits the mold of what Belichick likes in an inside linebacker: Experience, speed, smarts....
He may be on the Patriots radar depending on his current timetable from his Achilles injury sustained in week 3. Stay tuned....

The Pats do not need him...next year will be "get even year" with the same guys that played this year( with the exception of Ellis Hobbs ) will tear the league apart next year . They will take no prisoners. They will be sorry they fucked with the Pats. The Senator and the commissioner and all the asshole talk hosts that thought spygate was the thing to talk about before the Super Bowl.
The Pats will be back without any further help then the replacement of Ellis Hobbs. You heard it here and remember it well.
